Wine stories: the Bologna Wine experience

Osteria, wine bar, enoteca? Red or white, fermo, frizzante or spumante? Local or international? What a mess! How do we choose from one wine to another? Where should we go for the best wines of the region? The secret is with the sommelier!

Bologna is famous for our traditional, tasty recipes, but locals like their drinks just as much as their food, and our several drinking establishments are evidence of a love story that has never ended.

On this private experience, we will sit under the shade of Bologna's towers and porticos to discover the town's favourite drinking places and learn with the sommelier the secrets of Emilia-Romagna wines: the classic Lambrusco, Sangiovese, Pignoletto ... but also something unexpected like the international syrah and cabernet sauvignon
After a few glasses you won't resist taking some bottles home! 

Itinerary

The experience will take us down the small alleyways of medieval Bologna in the mercato di Mezzo or the old Jewish Ghetto area.

While coming across some hidden gems and popular sightseeing places (i. e. Piazza Maggiore and the Neptune fountain, Bologna's medieval towers and the secret window on the canals), we will stop at some carefully selected wine bars or taverns to taste the 3 most famous wines of the region and learn about them form the sommelier.
